The idea of UpYourVocab is to turn your vocabulary learning into a game! The app keeps track of what you need to practice and when. It starts out easy and makes it harder as you are getting better.
A new word is shown quite often. The higher score a word has, the longer until it is shown again. Behind the scenes, an algorithm is used to decide when a word is shown. It is designed for lasting learning, and depends on several variables.
